The Law Office of Robert W. Wilkinson

ROBERT W. WILKINSON graduated with honors from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1972 and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1975. Mr. Wilkinson also holds a Masters of Law Degree in Taxation from Georgetown University in Washington, DC., and a Masters of Law Degree in Military Law from the United States Army Judge Advocate Generals School in Charlottesville, Virginia. He began his legal career in the U. S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps, serving on active duty from 1976 through 1979. After his military service, he returned to Oak Ridge, Tennessee, to enter private practice. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Arts Council of Oak Ridge, Hope of East Tennessee, Inc., the Girl’s Club of Oak Ridge, the YWCA of Oak Ridge, Court Appointed Special Advocates of Anderson County, the Board of Trustees of First United Methodist Church of Oak Ridge, the Board of Trustees of the Holston Methodist Foundation and is also a member of the Rotary Club of Oak Ridge. Mr. Wilkinson remains active in the U.S. Army Reserve, holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Mr. Wilkinson also served as City Attorney to the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
